Anita Yadav

Anita Yadav has worked in a variety of roles in the development and social entrepreneurship space since 2004. Anita began their career as a Professional Executive (App) for Professional Assistance For Development Action (PRADAN). From 2007 to 2011, they worked as a Senior Technical Assistant for Central Farm Machinery Training and Testing Institute and as a Senior Program Officer for Rajiv Gandhi Mahila Vikas Pariyojna (RGMVP). In 2016, they earned a Certificate in Women Leadership from St. Francis Xavier University, Coady International Institute Antigonish Nova Scotia. In 2017, they became a Contributing Analyst for Wikistrat. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a State Resource Person (Livelihood Expert) for Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission, a Consultant (Climate Resilient Agriculture and Livelihood) for Bankers Institute of Rural Development (BIRD), a Consultant (Manager) for Triggerise, and a Technical Consultant for Bhartiya Samruddhi Investments and Consulting Services Limited (BASICS Ltd). Anita currently serves as a Senior Project Manager for Grameen Foundation India.

Anita Yadav has a long and varied educational history. Anita began their studies in 1994, when they attended GBMMHS Hinganghat Dist Wardha MS and earned their High School degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. Anita then attended Dr Punjab Rao Deshmukh Agricultural University, graduating in 2000 with an Engineer’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering and Technology. From 2005 to 2007, Anita Yadav attended Junagadh Agricultural University, where they earned a Master’s Degree in Agril Engg Farm Machinery and Power (Minor -Soil & Water Conservation). In 2014, they attended both India Institute of Human Rights and Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramodaya Vishwavidyalaya, earning a degree from the former in Human Rights and a PGNGO & RD from the latter in NGO management and Rural development.
