Thomas Grounds has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years in research and analysis roles in the real estate and investment industry. Thomas began their career as an Analyst at Precision Corporate Finance in 2006 and then moved on to work as a Research Analyst at Christie & Co. In 2008, they joined Cluttons LLP as a Residential Analyst before transitioning to Colliers International as a Senior Analyst in 2010. Thomas also had a short stint at Aviva Investors as a Secondee in the same year. In 2012, Grounds joined Strutt & Parker as a Senior Analyst and later became an Associate Partner, focusing on research. Thomas then worked as a Senior Associate Director of Research at BNP Paribas Real Estate starting in 2017. From 2018 to 2020, Grounds held various roles at Gingko Tree Investment Ltd, including VP of Investment Manager and VP of Research & Strategy. Thomas is currently serving as the Head of Research at Grainger PLC since June 2020. Overall, Grounds has gained extensive experience in research and analysis roles in the real estate and investment industry.
Thomas Grounds completed their education at the College of Estate Management from 2008 to 2011, earning a RICS PGDip with a focus on Property Investment. Prior to that, they attended the University of Reading from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained a BA Hons in Business Economics.
