Rob Symonds has a diverse work experience, starting as an Auditor at Deloitte from 1996 to 2000. Rob then worked as an Audit Supervisor at Deloitte Caribbean and Bermuda, focusing on auditing international insurance and reinsurance companies. In 2002, they joined Enstar Group as a Reinsurance Run-Off Analyst and later became Chief Accountant, responsible for financial management and reporting. From 2004 to 2006, they were the Group Internal Audit Manager at OSG Ship Management, where they reviewed policies and procedures for compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations. Since 2007, Rob has been working at TSG as a Business Process Manager, designing internal systems, policies, and procedures, as well as leading projects for ISO 9001 accreditation and internal audits. In 2017, they joined Grainger PLC as the Head of Finance Operations.
Rob Symonds completed their first formal education at Newcastle University from 1993 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) degree in Accounting & Law. Following this, from 1996 to 1999, they pursued further education in Financial Training to obtain an ACA qualification.
