Matt Willmon, CCP, CSCP obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where they studied from 1997 to 2002. Alongside their formal education, they have pursued additional certifications to enhance their professional skills. Matt obtained the Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification from WorldatWork in December 2019, followed by the Certified Sales Compensation Professional certification from the same institution in September 2013. In January 2008, Matt achieved the Six Sigma Black Belt certification through Life Technologies Business Excellence, and prior to that, in January 2007, they obtained the Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Life Technologies.
