Alexander Fields

Director, Bioinformatics And Data Science at GRAIL

Alexander Fields has a solid work experience in the fields of bioinformatics and data science. Alexander started their career as a Research Assistant at Stanford University in 2004 and worked there until 2006. Alexander then joined UCSF as a Postdoctoral Researcher in 2013 and worked there until 2017. Following that, they joined Grail as a Bioinformatics Scientist and progressed to Senior Staff Bioinformatics Scientist and Director, Bioinformatics and Data Science roles. Alexander joined Grail in 2017 and continues to work there.

Alexander Fields completed their undergraduate education at Stanford University from 2002 to 2006, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry. Following this, from 2006 to 2013, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biophysics at Harvard University.
