Fiona Liao is a software engineer who currently works for Grafana Labs. Fiona has previous experience working as an SDE at Amazon, where they worked on large-scale data ingestion and knowledge graphs. Fiona also performed security reviews on Amazon applications, including threat modelling and security testing. In addition to their work at Amazon, Fiona has also interned at Amazon as a software development engineer intern. During their time there, they created a new service to authenticate external clients, which included writing extensive tests and setting up the infrastructure.

Fiona Liao attended The Tiffin Girls' School for their high school education. Fiona then went on to study Computing at Imperial College London, where they obtained their Master of Engineering (MEng) degree.

Fiona Liao reports to Jon Gyllenswärd, Director, Engineering. They are on a team with Stephanie Closson - Software Engineer, Carl Bergquist - Principal Software Engineer, and Dieter Plaetinck - Principal Software Engineer.
