Ruqing Xu has worked as a Physicist at Argonne National Laboratory from October 2010 to March 2020. Following this, they worked as a Software Engineer at Affirm, Inc. from March 2020 to December 2021. Currently, Ruqing Xu holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at Gradual starting from December 2021.

Ruqing Xu completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics at Tsinghua University. Following this, they pursued their higher education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics.
