Tom Cox is an experienced executive in the home construction industry, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Gracepoint Homes, a company Tom founded in March 2006, focusing on new home construction in the Houston, Texas area. In addition to leading Gracepoint Homes, Tom Cox is also the Chief Executive Officer of Cox Communities, LLC since April 2018. Prior to these roles, Tom Cox held positions as President at DR Horton from January 2002 to February 2006 and at Emerald Homes from January 1998 to January 2001, where Tom Cox successfully initiated startup operations, achieving profitability within two years. Tom Cox began the career at Dietz - Crane Homes as Senior Operations Manager from January 1996 to December 1998. Tom Cox earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agronomy from Mississippi State University between 1989 and 1992, having also attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1987 to 1989.
