Kenneth Parris serves as Wing Chaplain for the California Wing Civil Air Patrol as of October 2023 and holds multiple leadership positions within the California Cadet Corps as 4th Brigade Advisor, Command Chaplain, and Lieutenant Colonel. Additionally, Kenneth Parris serves as Asafohene General with the Royal House of Sefwi Obeng-Mim in Ghana since February 2020, and contributes as a Senior Volunteer for the California Highway Patrol. A senior figure in the Civil Air Patrol with the title of Colonel Chaplain, Kenneth Parris has been a part of the organization since November 2017. At Grace Cathedral, Kenneth Parris is a Staff Deacon and has served in law enforcement chaplain roles since 1995 for both the Oakland Police Department and the Alameda County Sheriff's Office, along with a long history of service including Police Chaplain for the Oakland Police Department since July 1985. Kenneth Parris boasts a robust educational background with degrees from California State University - East Bay, University of California, Berkeley, and Episcopal School for Deacons, complemented by multiple diplomas in military and civil service training.
