Akbar K. currently serves as a Business Development Manager at Global Xpress since January 2023 and has been the Chief Technical Officer at GR-Tech since September 2021. Prior experience includes a role as a Research and Development Engineering Intern at Thinktum from September 2019 to December 2020, and a summer internship at Global Resources Technologies in 2018, where expertise in end-to-end software solutions was developed. Akbar also completed a Co-op at MAK Financial Services in 2016 and a summer Co-op at Salon Monzer, gaining valuable hands-on experience in client management and reception duties. Akbar holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Technology Management from the Lazaridis School of Business & Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University, completed in 2021, and graduated from Garth Webb Secondary School in 2017.
