Philipp Smunev has been working in the software engineering field since 2003. Philipp began their career at Motorola Solutions as a Software Engineer, and then moved to Luxoft in 2011, where they held the same role. In 2014, they joined LG Electronics as a Sr. Research Engineer, and then moved to Genesys in 2016, where they were a Staff Software Engineer. Most recently, they joined GPU Audio in 2021 as a Software Engineer.

Philipp Smunev received a Master's degree in Mathematics from Saint Petersburg State University between 1999 and 2004.
