Nick Bander is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Director of Product, Engineering, and Technology at GPT Industries since September 2021. With a strong background at Garlock Family of Companies since January 2014, where roles included Director of Engineering and Engineering Manager, Nick has led innovation and new product development strategies, managed application engineering, and focused on people development. Previous experiences include working as an Applications Engineer at GPT (PSI/Pikotek) and as a Design Intern at Chart Industries. Nick began a career in engineering with foundational roles in construction and business ownership, demonstrating a diverse skill set in technical support, product design, and project management. Nick holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Metropolitan State University of Denver and is designated as an Engineer in Training (EIT).
