Robert Deaver is a seasoned Senior Hardware Engineer at GPS Trackit since October 2022. Prior to this role, Robert served as Hardware Engineering Technical Lead at Futurex from July 2016 to October 2022, overseeing a team to develop FIPS 140-2 and PCI compliant cryptographic systems and defining system architecture. Robert also held the position of Hardware Design Engineer at Futurex, focusing on the design and support of hardware for secure systems. Earlier in the career, Robert worked as an Electrical Design Engineer at Teledyne Real Time Systems, Inc., where hardware, software, and firmware were designed for marine seismic applications. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from The University of Texas at San Antonio, with prior education at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
