Jim McSherry, AIA, LEED AP BD+C has a long and diverse work experience in the architecture industry. Jim started their career as an intern at Hawicz & Stait in 1999, where they gained valuable knowledge and skills. In 2001, they joined SBWV Architects, Inc. as an Assistant Vice President, focusing on the design of educational facilities for both public school districts and community colleges. Jim was actively involved in all project phases, showcasing their expertise in project management and design. In 2017, SBWV Architects merged with GPD Group, and Jim became a Project Manager at the newly formed entity. Jim specializes in K-12 and Community College facilities, leading design teams and mentoring staff members. Jim's commitment to bringing clients' visions to life from schematic design through the warranty period and beyond has made him a respected and trusted professional in the industry.

Jim McSherry, AIA, LEED AP BD+C earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Art from the University of Dallas in 1994. Following this, they pursued their Masters of Architecture degree at the University of Houston from 1998 to 2001, specializing in the field of Architecture.
