Shawn Nutter has extensive work experience in automation and engineering. Shawn began their career in 1995 as a Field Service Engineer at GE Fanuc. In 1998, they joined Revlon as a Director of Controls and Project Engineering, where they managed a $12M capital project budget and was awarded state funding in the amount of $150k for a customized training program. In 2002, Shawn was promoted to Manager of Development and Controls, where they designed and developed control systems, upgraded PLCs and HMIs, and implemented an automated data collection system. In 2022, Shawn moved to CertainTeed as an Industrial Controls Engineer. Most recently, in 2023, Shawn became the Director of Automation at GPA.
Shawn Nutter obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Virginia Tech.
