Nick Pinkston has a strong background in entrepreneurship and leadership. Nick is the Founder and CEO of Volition since September 2019, where they created a marketplace for industrial components. Prior to that, they founded and served as CEO of Plethora for 6 years, raising over $40M in venture capital/debt and growing revenue into the millions. Nick also founded CloudFab, a digital manufacturing marketplace, which was acquired in May 2012. Additionally, they co-founded and served as a council member for HackPittsburgh, a maker hub in Pittsburgh. Nick started their entrepreneurial journey with P&R Solutions, where they owned and operated a business selling and installing custom whiteboards.

From 2004 to 2008, Nick Pinkston attended the University of Pittsburgh, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Marketing.
