Shakeia Kegler has been working in the field of commercial real estate since 2021 as a Commercial Real Estate Agent for One Market Real Estate. In 2017, they founded GovLia and has been serving as its CEO. GovLia provides solutions for state and local government agencies to easily implement and manage local preference and supplier diversity programs. In 2020, they co-founded K5 Design Studio, a creative design and marketing studio based in South Florida. Shakeia has also been a Notary Public for the State of Florida since 2017, a Co-Founder of Code To Eat since 2019, a Secretary and Board Member of OPERATION120 since 2019, an Emerging Young Entrepreneur Program 2020 participant for the National Minority Supplier Development Council since 2019, an EndeavorLAB Cohort Participant for Endeavor since 2021, a 2020 Camelback Fellow for Camelback Ventures since 2019, and a 2019 Envolve Entrepreneurship Awardee for Envolve Entrepreneurship since 2019.
Shakeia Kegler began their education in 2008 at Gibbs High School, where they completed their high school education in 2011. Shakeia then went on to Central Texas College and earned an Associate's Degree in General Studies in 2014. After that, they attended American Military University and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Management in 2017. In 2018, they received a Certificate in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from Broward College. In 2021, they obtained a Real Estate Broker/Sales Agent certification from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. In addition, they have a Professional Property Management certification from Allied Business Schools obtained in 2014, a Secret Security Clearance from the United States Department of Defense obtained in 2012, and a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from ASQ. In 2022, they are scheduled to attend Tuck Executive Education at Dartmouth to study Building a Successful Diverse Business.
