Lorraine McNerney is an experienced professional in data governance and geospatial strategy, currently serving as the Head of Data Governance at the Department of Public Expenditure NDP Delivery & Reform since April 2024. Prior to this role, Lorraine held significant positions such as Co-Chair for the Expert Group on Statistical and Geospatial Information at the United Nations from October 2022 to September 2024 and Head of Geospatial Strategy and Services at Tailte Éireann from March 2023 to April 2024. With a robust background at Ordnance Survey Ireland spanning from 1997 to March 2023, Lorraine has held titles including CIO & General Manager, Software Applications Manager, Networks & Security Administrator, and Cartographer/Photogrammetrist.
