Szabolcs Pasztor has a significant amount of work experience in various roles related to veterinary and food safety. Szabolcs began their career as an Official Veterinarian at Eville & Jones, where they conducted audits and enforced food hygiene regulations. Szabolcs then moved on to the Ministry of Agriculture in Hungary, where they held roles such as Veterinary Officer and Food Hygiene Officer, involving drafting legislation and representing Hungary in international trade relations. Pasztor also worked at the Permanent Representation of Hungary to the EU as a Veterinary and Foodstuffs Attaché, facilitating cooperation between EU institutions and Hungary. Most recently, they served as the Head of the Office of the Chief Veterinary Officer at the Hungarian Ministry of Agriculture, responsible for coordinating international trade relations and EU affairs. Throughout their career, Pasztor has demonstrated strong leadership skills, supervising teams and highlighting key areas for policy making.
Szabolcs Pasztor obtained a Certificate in Official Veterinarian Surgeon's Course from the Bristol School of Veterinary Science in 2005. Prior to that, they earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in Veterinary Sciences/Veterinary Clinical Sciences, General from Szent István University between 1999 and 2004.
