Kara Kanis has extensive experience in marketing and sales roles. KARA started their career as a Project Manager at Alpha Video in 2000 and then became a Director of Marketing at World Data Products in 2001. From 2006 to 2012, they served as the Director of Marketing at Jobs2web, where they oversaw all aspects of marketing for the company. In 2012, Kara joined SuccessFactors as the Director of Sales Operations, Recruiting Marketing. KARA was responsible for managing a team and monitoring sales performance. From 2012 to 2016, they worked as the VP of Marketing and Client Services at Knowledge Marketing, where they developed a corporate marketing framework and implemented marketing strategies. Currently, Kara holds the position of VP of Growth at GovDocs, Inc. KARA had previously served as the VP of Sales and Marketing and VP of Marketing and Communications at the same company.

Kara Kanis completed their education at Minnesota State University Moorhead. From 1994 to 1998, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Paralegal. During the same period, from 1997 to 1998, they specialized further and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Legal Assistant/Paralegal.
