Paul Olsen, P.E., currently serves as the Executive Director of the ODU Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Old Dominion University, facilitating innovative and entrepreneurial services for the Mid-Atlantic Region since September 2015. Additionally, Olsen holds the position of President and CEO at Honor Builders, LLC, a strategic engineering firm focusing on long-term challenges such as Sea Level Rise Planning and Port Modernization. Involvement in various organizations includes board memberships with the Virginia Maritime Association and Norfolk Innovation Corridor, as well as prior roles with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Department of Defense. Olsen is pursuing a PhD in Public Administration and Policy at Old Dominion University and holds multiple degrees in civil engineering, business management, and urban planning.
