Emily Trenchard

Project Manager - Special Projects at Gotcare

Emily Trenchard has work experience in various roles and companies.

In 2022, they joined Gotcare as an Operations Coordinator.

From 2021 to 2022, they worked at The Russell Hill Retirement Residence. Initially, they served as an Administrative Assistant- Head Concierge from September 2021 to July 2022. Additionally, they also worked as a Personal Support Worker from August 2021 to July 2022.

In 2021, Emily had a brief placement at Rekai Centre - Wellesley Central Place as a Personal Support Worker- Clinical Placement in March and April.

Emily Trenchard has a diverse educational background. Emily first attended the University of Guelph from 2016 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. In 2019, they pursued specialized education at Conestoga College, completing two Ontario College Certificate programs: one in Palliative Care and another in Thanatology (Death and Dying).

More recently, Emily attended George Brown College from 2020 to 2021, where they obtained an Ontario College Certificate in their Personal Support Worker Program. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications in various areas of caregiving and support. These certifications include Caring for Persons with Dementia from the Centre for Learning, Research & Learning in Long-Term Care, Preventing and Addressing Abuse and Neglect of Older Adults from the Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario (RNAO), Eating Assistance from the Centre for Learning, Research & Learning in Long-Term Care, Falls Prevention in Older Adults from Toronto Public Health, Ostomy Care from Hollister Education, and Grief & Bereavement Counselling from Udemy.

Emily's academic journey demonstrates their dedication to the fields of psychology, end-of-life care, and personal support work.
