Kurtis Kotes, Ed.D., serves as the Superintendent of Schools for the Goshen Central School District since July 2021, having previously held the same position at Mount Pleasant Central School District from July 2018 to June 2021. Kurtis Kotes also contributed to Goshen Central School District as the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction, Personnel, and Technology and as High School Principal between November 2011 and July 2018. Earlier in the career, Kurtis Kotes worked as the Assistant High School Principal at Cornwall Central School District from November 2005 to December 2011. Kurtis Kotes holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) from St. John Fisher University, conferred in December 2016, and a Bachelor of Arts in American Government and Politics from the University at Albany, along with additional education from Mount Saint Mary College.
