Sean Ni has worked in the tech industry since 1999. Their first role was as an RD Contractor at CoolMark, where they developed instant messenger software and data sync software for Nokia phones. In 2001, they moved to RD as an RD Manager. Two years later, they joined Digital Instinct as CTO. In 2006, they began working at WeLink Solution, Inc. as CTO and concurrently at Gorilla Technology Group as Sr. Director.

Sean Ni obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from National Central University between 1987 and 1991. Sean then went on to earn their Master's Degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering from the same university between 1991 and 1993. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mobile Network, and Parallel Computing from National Central University in 2000.
