Huw Davies has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Huw is currently working at Gorilla, a utility pricing engine company, where they play a role in product development and implementation. Prior to this, they worked as a Business Consultant at Powersoft Consulting, where they provided consulting services to EDF Energy, a large utility company in the UK. Huw also served as a Strategy Adviser to the General Manager at Lagos State Electricity Board and as a Power Consultant at the Nigerian Infrastructure Advisory Facility (NIAF). Earlier in their career, Huw worked at EDF Energy in various roles including Business Consultant, Hedging Manager, Transmission and Gas Cost Consultant, and Senior Pricing Analyst. Huw also gained experience at npower, where they were the Electricity Purchasing Manager, Senior Pricing Analyst, and Business Analyst. Overall, Huw has a strong background in the energy industry and a proven track record in consulting, strategy, and pricing roles.

Huw Davies attended The University of Sheffield from 1996 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Geology.
