Felipe Alcantara has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Felipe is currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Gorila since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Author for Polymath Engineer Weekly starting in April 2022. In August 2022, Felipe founded their own company, flowt.

Before their current roles, Felipe worked as a Visiting Professor at ITI UFSCar from June 2021 to September 2022. Felipe also held the position of Senior Software Engineer and Tech Lead at Hash from March 2021 to June 2022. During this time, they worked on the Risk team, developing systems and integrations for anti-fraud, KYC, and money laundering prevention.

From August 2020 to March 2021, Felipe worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Luizalabs, focusing on the development of the parceiromagalu.com.br/divulgador website.

Prior to Luizalabs, Felipe gained experience as a Software Architect and Software Developer at Raccoon Marketing Digital. From August 2019 to August 2020, they served as a Software Architect, making impactful decisions through data and designing and implementing distributed systems. Felipe also worked as a Software Developer from November 2016 to August 2019, designing and implementing systems for data management and leading the adoption of cloud-native application development practices.

Felipe Alcantara pursued their education in Computer Science from 2013 to 2017 at USP - Universidade de São Paulo. Felipe obtained a degree in this field during their time at the university. Additionally, in September 2019, Felipe achieved certification as a Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect from Google.
