Ron Cartier has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Ron started their career as a Senior Consultant at Ernst & Young from 1986 to 1988.
In 1989, they established their own firm, Ronald D. Cartier, CPA, where they provided forensic investigation, business valuation, and trial testimony services for complex family law cases. Ron also worked on cases involving antitrust violations, personal injury, construction claims, bankruptcy, and business interruption. Ron served as the owner of the firm until 2013.
From 2013 to 2018, Ron joined Hewlett-Packard as a Forensics and Fraud Mitigation expert. In this role, they specialized in investigating various financial and accounting fraud schemes, including revenue recognition acceleration, bribery, and misuse of company assets. Ron's contributions aided in the improvement of processes and the prevention of potential violations.
Currently, Ron holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at GORIGHT PPL, which they started in August 2018. As CFO, they manage accounting operations, financial analysis, budgeting, investor relations, and oversees banking activities. Ron also leads a team and collaborates with outside auditors and tax advisors.
Ron Cartier obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Louisiana State University, where they studied from 1977 to 1981. Ron later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Accounting and Finance from the same university, attending from 1983 to 1984.
