Tom Kald is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in procurement and vendor management. Currently serving as a Senior Procurement Specialist at Gore Mutual Insurance since June 2021, Tom plays a key role in transforming the company's procurement processes. In addition to this position, Tom operates as a Principal Consultant for TOM KALD Consulting and is an active member of Procurement Foundry, a global community for procurement professionals. Previous roles include Manager of Strategic Sourcing and Strategic Sourcing Specialist at BGIS, as well as a National Procurement Specialist for the IBM Canada Account at CBRE Ltd. Tom's career began at Sun Life as a Consultant in Procurement Services and has also included positions at Allianz Canada and Gage Learning Corporation. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Toronto Scarborough and has pursued further education at Georgian College.
