Chris Hughes has extensive experience in the aerospace industry, currently working in a Structures role at GDC Technics, Ltd. since March 2016, focusing on modifications for Boeing 787 and 777 aircraft. Prior experience includes a Structures position at Northrop Grumman Corporation since August 2014, as well as roles as a Sheet Metal Mechanic at AAR CORP. and AECOM/AGS, where responsibilities included modifications and heavy checks on CRJ200 and phase maintenance, respectively. Chris also contributed to thrust reverser repairs at Triumph Group. Initial experience in aviation maintenance began with the US Navy, where Chris served from September 2001 to September 2006, performing O level maintenance on F-14 Tomcats and F/A-18 Super Hornets. Educational qualifications include a certificate in Aviation Maintenance from the U.S. Navy and completion of studies at Eastern Hills High School.
