Rusty Munro is an accomplished UX Design Manager currently working at Google since August 2022, focusing on Gemini within Core UX. Prior experience includes leading UX design for Amazon's Alexa Core UX and Device Design Group from September 2016 to August 2022. Rusty has also held roles such as Sr. Product Designer for the Alexa Voice Service, Director of User Experience Design at Verst, and Creative Director at Method. Early career experience includes positions at MetaDesign, Academy of Art University as an instructor, and ATTIK as a Jr. Interactive Designer. Rusty holds a BFA in Computer Arts: New Media from the Academy of Art University and an AS in Multimedia/Graphic Design from The Art Institute of California San Francisco.
