Otty Soemitro is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in product design and leadership roles. Currently serving as a Staff Design Manager and Staff Designer at Google since January 2022, Otty is also a member of the Design Leadership Forum since April 2022 and an investor at STRONGBEE. Previous positions include Product Design at Meta, Director of Product Design at Life360, and Principal Product Designer at Smule, Inc. Notable earlier roles include Lead of Native UX Design at StubHub and UX Director at IAC. Otty began a career in design at NEC Corporation of America as a Solution Architect/Project Manager. Otty holds a BFA in Advertising from the University of San Francisco.
