Ming Zhu is a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Google since April 2024, focusing on AI Inference in GKE. Previously, Ming held the position of Senior Principal Architect at Microsoft from March 2022 to May 2024, where responsibilities included overseeing Deep Learning Inference Services for Bing and AOAI. Prior experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at Facebook from August 2018 to March 2022, leading the Inference Platform within AI Infrastructure, and a Research Software Engineer position at Microsoft from May 2017 to August 2018, leading the rewrite of the worker manager for Cosmos. Ming's career also includes significant contributions to Luminate Wireless, NEC (China), Baidu, and Hillstone Networks, along with a robust academic background with a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Tsinghua University and additional degrees from Beihang University.
