Maya Kulycky is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research, strategy, and communications. Currently serving as the Research VP of Strategy, Operations, and Outreach at Google since May 2022, Maya has previously held key positions at IBM from December 2015 to May 2022, including Chief of Staff and Research Advocacy at IBM Research. Throughout their career, Maya has demonstrated a commitment to driving business strategy, particularly in artificial intelligence and healthcare, while fostering partnerships and promoting research initiatives. Additional roles include leadership positions at ABN/CNBC Africa/Forbes Africa, Film & Event Media, and mothers2mothers, as well as experience as a correspondent for ABC News and CNBC. Maya holds a Doctor of Law from Yale Law School and advanced degrees from Goldsmiths, University of London, and The Johns Hopkins University.
