Liwei Wang is a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Google since July 2019, specializing in building compliant admin access and sovereignty controls for Google Cloud. With previous experience as a Director of Software Engineering at Refinitiv, Liwei managed global development teams and oversaw the engineering of real-time data products while transitioning applications to AWS. Liwei's extensive career at Thomson Reuters included various leadership roles, culminating in significant achievements in team growth, Agile methodology implementation, and application security. Liwei holds a PhD in Computer Science from Harbin Institute of Technology and a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
