Jun Wan is a highly experienced software engineer specializing in machine learning and cloud services. Currently a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Google, Jun Wan contributes to the ML Platform and AI Infra for Google Ads safety and classification. Previously held the same title at Databricks, focusing on a vector search platform to support large language model retrieval. At Facebook, Jun Wan served as the Uber Tech Lead on the Feature Store team within the AI Infra Organization, developing a machine learning feature engineering platform for the entire company. Earlier in the career, Jun Wan worked at Microsoft for nearly 14 years in various roles, including Principal Software Engineer Manager, where core cloud services for O365 Skype for Business were designed and implemented, and lead roles in user data management and online provisioning services. Jun Wan holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor's degree in Physics, both from Peking University.
