Davie Mwangi is a Senior UX Designer at Google, overseeing User Experience Design for Search in Sub-Saharan Africa since December 2023. Prior to this role, Davie served as Design Manager at poa! internet, where responsibilities included establishing the design team and coaching designers in various skill sets. Experience at KOKO Networks as a Senior Product Designer involved leading user research and design processes across multiple squads. As Consulting UX Lead at Marathon, Davie re-imagined digital banking experiences for a major regional bank. Previously, Davie held positions as Design Lead & Product Owner at Bank of Kigali Limited, Design Lead at Kytabu Inc., and founder of Tumbili. An early career featured roles as a Training Coordinator and Designer, contributing to educational initiatives in Kenya and Tanzania. Davie holds a Diploma in Web Design and Development from Nairobits Digital Design School.
