Bo Lu is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in interaction and product design. Currently serving as Group Experience Lead for Search at Google since April 2020, Bo Lu previously held various leadership positions at Pinterest from July 2015 to March 2020, including Director of Product Design for Shopping and Product Design Manager for Core Products and Growth. Earlier roles include Principal Interaction Designer at IDEO and Senior Interaction Designer at Apple Inc. Bo Lu's career began with freelance work and design roles at Tiny Pictures and AKQA. Academic credentials include a BFA in Communication Design from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design and Ringling College of Art and Design, both completed between 2001 and 2004.
