Biswa Nag is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in software development and management. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at Google since February 2009, Biswa Nag focuses on YouTube ads and has previously contributed to Google Translate, specializing in full stack development, machine learning, natural language processing, and large language models. Prior roles include Senior Manager of Engineering at Yahoo! and Software Engineering Manager at Sun Microsystems, where Biswa Nag led teams in developing personalized recommendation models and optimizing performance for databases and web technologies. Biswa Nag holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Master of Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, and a Bachelor of Engineering from Jadavpur University.
