Ashwini Varma is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and management. Currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at Google since March 2022, Ashwini oversees the ChromeOS software engineering team, leading a global group across various locations. Prior to Google, Ashwini held multiple key roles at Microsoft from August 2006 to December 2021, including Partner Dev Director for Microsoft Power Automate and Principal Software Engineering Manager for Microsoft Dynamics & Power Platform. Earlier career experiences include software engineering positions at Infosys, Hughes Software Systems Limited, and Idea Cellular Ltd. Ashwini holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Washington and a BE in Electronics & Telecommunication from Cummins College of Engineering.
