Anitha Vijayakumar is an accomplished engineering director with extensive experience in machine learning and data center software. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering for the Machine Learning Inference Platform at Google since June 2017, Anitha drives the development of an end-to-end machine learning ecosystem for both internal and external users, focusing on flexibility across various platforms. Prior to this role, Anitha worked at Google from 2011 to 2017 as a Data Center Software Platforms PM, where responsibilities included automating data center deployments with a focus on reliability and cost efficiency. Anitha's career began at Alcatel USA Resources as a Software Engineer, specializing in network security protocols, and later as an Engineering Manager at Ericsson. Anitha holds an MS in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a BE in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Bangalore Institute of Technology.
