Alla Ivanova is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in managing large-scale engineering teams across prominent technology companies. Currently serving as Head of Engineering for Cloud BI at Google, Alla leads approximately 200 engineers, focusing on the evolution of Looker BI & AI platforms. Previous roles include Head of Engineering at Atlassian, overseeing an international team of over 800, and Head of Core Infrastructure at Uber, where Alla managed an organization of 150+. Earlier experience encompasses senior positions at Groupon, Sears Holdings Corporation, Netflix, Walmart eCommerce, Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company, and Tatneft. Alla holds a Master’s degree in Applied Math & Computer Science from Kazan State University.
