Ming Du is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the tire industry, currently serving as Lead Engineer at Goodyear since August 1998. Key areas of expertise include tire durability testing and prediction, development of innovative products such as the Air Maintenance Tire and Non-Pneumatic Tire, and tire performance simulation. Additionally, Ming Du has a strong background in off-road tire durability, traction mechanisms, and polymer testing. Prior work as a Research Engineer at the Institute of Mechanics Chinese Academy of Science involved studying the mechanical behavior of materials, as well as fracture and fatigue analysis. Ming Du earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Stony Brook University.
