Everett Shupe, Ed.D. (Dr.E) has an extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. Everett is currently the Vice President of Leadership & Workforce Development at Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia since November 2022. Prior to that, they founded and served as the Chief Engagement Officer of ETShupe Consulting, a company dedicated to creating learning experiences.

Dr. Shupe also has experience in academia, working as an Adjunct Professor at The George Washington University and Montgomery College on separate occasions. Everett has also held various positions at Goodwill Industries International, including Senior Director of Leadership and Learning, Director of Leadership Programs, Executive Development Program Director, Senior Director of Events and Sponsorships, Director of Events, Learning Events Manager, and Learning Events Specialist.

Additionally, Dr. Shupe has worked as a Meetings Manager at ZERO TO THREE and Doubletree Hotel as an Executive Conference Manager. Everett started their career as a Conference Assistant at the Council of Independent Colleges before later becoming a Conference Manager at the same organization.

Throughout their career, Dr. Shupe has demonstrated expertise in leadership development, program design, event planning, and learning experience enhancement.

Everett Shupe, Ed.D. (Dr. E) has a diverse education history. Everett obtained a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Human and Organizational Learning - Executive Leadership Development Program from The George Washington University from 2014 to 2020. Prior to that, they earned an MBA in Human Resources from Hood College between 1997 and 2004. In 1989, they received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Maryland. Before their college education, they completed their high school education at Largo High School, earning a High School Diploma in 1989.

In addition to their formal education, Dr. E has also pursued various certifications. In 2023, they obtained the Mental Health First Aid certification from Mental Health First Aid USA. In 2020, they completed the Virtual Event & Meeting Management certification from the Event Leadership Institute. The same year, they also acquired certifications in Collective Leadership Assessment and The Leadership Circle Profile from The Leadership Circle. In 2019, they became a Design Your Success Fellow through the New Sector Alliance, and in 2018, they became an Immunity to Change Facilitator through Minds at Work.
