Laura Wurtz is a Learning Specialist at Goodwill NCW since June 2023, following experience as a Classroom Instructor focused on Narrative and Nonfiction Writing at District 709 from August 2021 to July 2023. In that role, Laura developed and administered over 70 courses for more than 500 learners, enhancing engagement and aligning with stakeholder objectives, while also serving as a subject matter expert in course design. Prior to this, Laura instructed Creative Writing at District 128 from December 2020 to July 2021, where over 30 virtual training courses were created for more than 200 learners, collaborating with subject matter experts on various educational materials. Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language Arts Education from Illinois State University.
