Jay Lucien

Senior Product Designer, Health at GoodRx

Jay Lucien has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Jay started their career as a Warehouse Specialist at EVERYTHING BUT THE HOUSE (EBTH) in 2013 and worked in that role until 2014. In 2015, they transitioned to the role of Marketing Intern at EBTH and stayed in that position until 2016. Jay then returned to EBTH as a Brand Management Intern from 2017 to 2018.

In 2018, Jay joined Adobe as a Promotion Strategy Project Consultant, where they worked for a few months before moving on to HeyDoctor as a Product Design Intern. At HeyDoctor, they collaborated with Engineering, Product, and Business owners to improve the product experience, established processes to enhance team workflows, and guided the visual identity and brand direction.

In 2019, Jay became the Design Lead at HeyDoctor, where they created HeyDoctor's first design system and brought consistency to the product while increasing product-dev velocity. Jay also owned product design across the top of the funnel and the patient platform experience.

Jay's most recent role is at GoodRx, where they started as a Product Designer in the Telehealth department in 2019. Here, they designed a solution that allowed GoodRx Care patients to save their information to their health record, resulting in improved patient visit experience and better care from clinicians. Jay also worked as a Senior Product Designer in the Design Systems department, overseeing the comprehensive redesign of GoodRx Care and implementing the design system across the entire product. This led to an 80% lift in visit completions and the unification of new utility and illustrative icon libraries.
