Director, Consumer Insights at GoodRx

Dana Barnes MPH has a diverse work experience in various industries, primarily focusing on data analytics, business intelligence, and healthcare. Dana currently holds the position of Senior Manager, Consumer Insights at GoodRx since January 2022. In this role, they lead user research efforts for the company's Health Care Provider-facing products, manages the customer experience measurement program, and conducts original analyses using various data sources.

Prior to this, Dana worked at GoodRx in roles such as Senior Manager and Manager of Business Intelligence from December 2019 to January 2022. Dana was responsible for overseeing business intelligence activities and analysis.

Before joining GoodRx, Dana worked as a Data Analytics Instructor at General Assembly from 2018 to 2019. Dana was involved in teaching and guiding students in the field of data analytics.

Dana also gained valuable experience at Kaiser Permanente, where they worked as a Senior Data Consultant and Managerial Consultant from 2015 to 2019. In these roles, they focused on medical imaging technology, informatics, and national delivery system strategy, planning, and design.

Dana's earlier work experience includes roles as a Strategic Analyst at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center from 2012 to 2014 and as an Outreach Specialist at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene from 2011 to 2012.

Additionally, they served as the President's Public Service Fellow at the City of New Haven's Department of Transportation in 2010.

Dana Barnes MPH has a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) degree in Health Policy & Administration from Yale University. Additionally, they have a certificate in UCLA Extension - User Experience (UX) Research & Design from UCLA. Prior to this, Dana successfully obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology, Biochemistry, and Mathematics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
