Brian Shonat has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. From 2021 to the present, they have served as the Vice President of Business Development at Goodroot, where they are part of a community of companies committed to reinventing healthcare systems and making it more accessible and affordable for all. Prior to this role, Brian worked at Lively, Inc. from 2019 to 2021 as the Business Development Director - East, focusing on simplifying Health Savings Accounts and ensuring individuals and families can balance their health and wealth effectively. Before joining Lively, Brian held various roles at HSA Bank, a division of Webster Bank, N.A. Brian was an Associate Vice President Sales for the Mid-Atlantic region from 2016 to 2019 and a Talent Acquisition Specialist from 2014 to 2016. Brian also worked at TEKsystems from 2012 to 2014 as an Account Manager for Applications and a Technical Recruiter.

Brian Shonat pursued their education at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse from 2007 to 2012. During this time, they focused on Professional and Organizational Communication Studies, specifically in the field of Business Communication.
