Katharina Ursula Haack completed their A levels in French literature, Biology, History, and English literature at Goethe-Schule in Lower Saxony from 1981 to 1988. Katharina Ursula went on to earn a Master's Degree in Economics, Romance languages, and literatures from The University of Göttingen from 1989 to 1996. In 1992-1993, they participated in the Erasmus Programme at the University of Pau and Adour Countries, where they focused on Romance literatures and languages. Additionally, in 1999, they completed a Postgraduate course in European Studies/Civilization (law, economics) at Europa-Kolleg Hamburg.
