Dean Thrasher has an extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Dean started their career in 1998 at Chemonics International as a Financial Systems Engineer and Production Specialist. In 2000, they moved to Interealty as an Internet Applications Developer. From 2004 to 2005, they worked at LogiXML as a Senior Software Engineer, winning the Employee of the Year Award in 2004. Dean then moved to TOWER Software as a Technical Architect, where they provided input and guidance to the product roadmap committee. In 2007, they founded Infovark, Inc. and designed, built and launched a personal productivity application. In 2011, they worked at Clinical Care Options as a Principal Architect, leading a team of five developers to rebuild the website using the Sitecore web content management system. From 2014 to 2015, they worked at NavigationArts as a Sitecore Tech Lead. Dean then moved to EPAM Systems as a Senior Solutions Architect, where they headed the global EPAM Sitecore Competency Center. Currently, they are working at Goodfynd as the VP of Engineering, responsible for system design and architecture.
Dean Thrasher completed their education history with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science and Government from Duke University between 1993 and 1997. Prior to that, they attended Wheeler High School from 1989 to 1993. Dean also holds several certifications, including a Sitecore CMS Advanced .NET Developer obtained in December 2014, a Sitecore Website .NET Developer Certification obtained in 2012, and two Coveo for Sitecore 4.0 Cloud Certified Developer certifications.
