Karan Saklani is a Lead Software Engineer at Goodera since July 2021, leading the development of an AI Copilot that includes a recommendation engine utilizing embeddings and classifiers, as well as overseeing the migration of a micro-service architecture to a monolithic structure and transitioning from NoSQL to a relational database. Previously, Karan served as a Software Engineer (SDE 1), where responsibilities included building and managing backend systems with MoleculerJS and NestJS, alongside conducting code reviews and architectural decisions. Karan's early experience includes an internship focused on backend development and integration of scheduling services, and a project internship at Sirius Motorsports, analyzing emission data using Python and various data analysis libraries. Karan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani - Goa Campus, completed in 2022.
